Getting started
What is AiSquare?
An online examination platform for institutions. It covers the question bank, assessments, scheduling, browser-level proctoring, automatic scoring, results and certificates, with each institution on its own subdomain.
How do we get started?
Write to us for a demo. We set up your organisation, with its subdomain, branding and first administrator, and it is ready to use as soon as it is set up.
Can we use our own domain?
Yes. An organisation can serve its candidates on its own domain with its own certificate.
Product
Which question types are supported?
Single and multiple choice, true or false, yes or no, assertion and reason, match the following, fill in the blank, numerical with tolerance, ordering, matrix and grid, comprehension passages, maths with KaTeX, image-based questions, and SQL, HTML and output-prediction questions marked against an answer key. Nothing a candidate types is run as code.
Can candidates take exams on a phone?
Yes. The exam player works in a phone's browser as well as on a laptop, with the same timer and autosave.
What happens if a candidate's connection drops?
Answers are saved as the candidate works and held while the device is offline. When the candidate comes back, the same paper opens with the correct time remaining.
Can we import our existing questions?
Yes. Import from CSV or Excel by question type, with checks, duplicate detection and an error report; images can be imported as a ZIP.
Proctoring
How are exams proctored?
Browser-level proctoring records tab switches, copy and paste attempts and lost focus, and a live proctor can watch the candidate list in real time and warn, pause, extend or end an attempt.
Does AiSquare use the webcam?
No. Proctoring in AiSquare today is browser-level, with a live proctor watching the candidate list. Camera, video and automated face detection are not part of the product.
What is a Proctor Code?
A short code the proctor shares from Live monitoring just before the exam. Candidates cannot begin a Browser-level exam without it.
Pricing and billing
How is AiSquare priced?
By plan, sized to your candidates, exams and storage, with add-ons when you need more. Write to us for a quote.
Do quotes include GST?
Quotes are given without GST; your invoices are GST invoices with GST added.
How do we pay?
Online through Razorpay, or by an offline payment that we record against your invoice.
Can candidates pay an exam fee?
Yes. An institution can ask candidates to pay an exam fee online.
Security and privacy
Where can I read about security?
On our Security page, which lists the controls that protect your exams and data.
Can a candidate get a copy of their data?
Yes. Candidates can download their own data and ask for it to be erased from the privacy page of their portal.
