Build the paper once, reuse it everywhere

Design a paper as a blueprint: sections, instructions, timing and rules. Use it for one exam or many, with fixed questions or a paper drawn at random for each candidate.

At a glance

  • Sections and timing

Each section can have its own instructions and time limit.

  • Fixed or random papers

Pick questions yourself or draw them from pools by subject, topic and difficulty.

  • Checked before publishing

An exam publishes only when every pool has enough approved questions.

How it works

Blueprints with sections and rules

An assessment is a reusable blueprint. Add sections, write instructions, set section timing and navigation rules, and save it as a template for the next exam.

  • Section timers and navigation rules
  • Marks and negative marking
  • Pass marks, attempt limits and retakes
The assessment builder with three sections.

Random papers from checked pools

Draw questions at random by subject, topic and difficulty. AiSquare checks every pool before you publish, so no candidate meets a paper that is short of questions.

  • Distribution by difficulty, subject and topic
  • Each candidate gets their own draw
  • Shortfalls shown before publishing
Random selection rules with the pool counts.

A published exam never changes

Publishing freezes the exam as a version. Edit a question afterwards and the published exam still shows the version it was published with.

  • Exam versions that cannot be edited
  • Question changes never reach a running exam
  • The history is kept

Frequently asked

Does every candidate get the same paper?

Only if you choose fixed questions. With random selection, each candidate gets a paper drawn from the same pools under the same rules.

Can we change an exam after publishing?

The published version is frozen, so candidates always see what you published. Schedules can still be changed or cancelled within your rules.
